These are tumultuous days…weather, finances, politics, wars, diseases all seem to be groaning for and pointing to the soon coming of Yahoshua…we have known Him by His nickname, Jesus. 

There is power in His Name, forgiveness and cleansing, healing, protection, provision, peace and joy…everything that we could ever need or want is in Him, the great I AM!

This morning I prayed Psalm 91 in ‘first person’. 

“If I live in Your shelter, O Most High, then I will find rest in Your shadow, Almighty YAH.”

I encourage you to pray that Psalm that way, making it personal between you and our powerful, yet gentle Savior. 

Did you ever go to a restaurant and looking over the menu, you just couldn't decide what to order? If they offered a Sampler Plate that would at least give you a taste of a variety of what they offered. 

It seems that God is doing that very thing with us. 

We weren't able to spend our whole lives serving Him on the missionfield, as we had passionately wanted to do. It wasn't until we retired, that we were free to go. 

It seems that in His gracious mercy and love, He is is giving us a sampler plate, a variety of different types of ministry. 

The last trip to Jamaica, this summer, was cut short, because of hurricane Beryl.

We traveled many miles, meeting with Pastors and Educators, being ‘Watchmen on the wall’, as it were, warning of the Agenda of Alternative Lifestyle teaching coming to the Jamaican school system. 

We offered the solution of Evangelism, Discipleship and Christian Education thru the system and curriculum of ACE…and offering to help set up these Learning Centers. 

We thought, that when we returned, it would be more of the same. 

But as things beyond our wildest dreams, have unfolded, right before us, it seems we will get to sample another completely different aspect of ministry. 

We will still be on hand to present in person or by Zoom, the antidote to the tsunami of evil, trying to take over the country. 

However, we've been invited to participate in the oversight of an Air BNB, beautifully located on the most beautiful beach, on the island.

I'm finding it's easier to give than to receive. I proceeded with offering every obstacle that would prove it wasn't God's leading. Each one, eliminated. 

So, I, “lift up my hands, and praise you again and again…”

What an amazing Christ to present us, in our waning years, with this Sampler Plate! 

We had actually been praying, with concern, about being able to travel all over the island, up in unknown areas in the bush, with us getting older. He answered with a gracious gift, providing a way for us to engage with folks, by them coming to us!

So far our Sampler Plate:

1. Administered ACE school…check

2. Entertained Teams…check 

3. Taught Evangelism ..check

4. Helped with ACE Supervisor training…check

5. Was blessed by taking care of Papa Jack for 8 years…check

6. Watchman…check

7. Given the vision of Jamaica being a righteous nation, passing it onward and praying to that end…check

We have offered to do a trial basis, through April, at the air bnb. 

We will have opportunity to touch the lives of folks traveling there from all over the world!!!

There will also be ample opportunity to touch the lives of locals as well. 

The owner is Jamaican and lives in the US.

She wants to start a school in honor of her mother and grandmother. 

We are set up to talk about the benefits of ACE.

Please pray for us as we sample through this new menu. 

We have purposed to live on PURPOSE. We have one goal…to know Him, and to make Him known!

We have no control over how this life ends. But I have asked Jesus repeatedly to allow me to die the same way I've lived, on PURPOSE. 

Let every aspect of your life be 100% given to Christ. 

We have some personal affairs to put in order before our tentative trip in January.
